Yes, Poly-Tech Sleep Services is accredited by American Academy of Sleep Medicine(AASM).
Do you accept my insurance?
Poly-Tech Sleep Services accepts most insurance providers. We will contact your Insurance carrier for eligibility and benefits prior to schedule your sleep study. Sleep disorder testing and treatment is covered by most major medical insurances.
Is the sleep lab reputable?
On our survey, 100% of our patients said they would refer us to their family or friends. All our technologists are either Registered Respiratory Therapists or Registered Polysomnographers. All staff receives continuing education on the latest equipment and techniques available in sleep medicine. Physician references are available upon your request. Most of our referrals are come from our patients.
Is the lab at a location that is convenient for the patients?
Poly-Tech Sleep Services is conveniently located in the Northeast Section of Philadelphia. The area is quiet and conducive to perform sleep studies.
Does the lab have facilities to accommodate the patients needs?
Poly-Tech Sleep Services has large bedrooms with queen sized beds, bathrooms, flat screen televisions with cable, and temperature control. All bedrooms are decorated to make the patient feel at home.
Can the lab schedule the patient quickly?
Poly-Tech Sleep Services has 2 bedrooms that are routinely scheduled 5 nights per week and weekends by request.We are also able to perform any specialized sleep testing that is needed to diagnose your patients including MSLTs, MWTs, seizure montages, and PAP therapy.
Does the lab have a quick turn-around time?
All our studies are manualy scored by Registered Respiratory Therapist. Interpretations are performed by Dr.Weaver, Board certified in the field sleep medicine, pulmonary and critical care within 24-48 hours after scoring.
What is the patient/technician ratio?
Poly-Tech Sleep Services follows AASM standards of 2 patients per technician. When a patient has special needs, this is changed to 1 patient per technician.
Is the lab secure?
Yes! Poly-Tech Sleep Services is located on the second floor of the medical building. The complete facility is under surveillance camera for your protection. Fire Department and Nazareth Hospital is only minutes away from the facility.
